11 Weeks

Not much to post.  Trying to get in a routine still with being back to work and the little one.  Jojo has been super fussy for the last week and half.  Last Saturday he developed a rash.  Monday I called the doctor and had him checked out.  He has acid reflux and was put on medicine.  It has helped a good bit already.  I hope it continues to.  While we were there the checked his weight and he is now weighing 11 pounds.  He almost gained a full pound in two weeks.  I was so happy with that.  As for the rash the doc said it was nothing to worry about.  It has since gone away.  All in all things are going good for us. 

I love my little guy very much. 

9 weeks

This was my first week back to work.  I thought it would be more difficult than it has been.  I did shed a few tears after dropping Jojo off at the babysitters.  But I feel he is in great hands and he seems to be the same happy and calm baby boy.  Brittany and her daughters adore Jojo.  Caroline reads to him  in the morning before school and Maddison plays with him and reads to him in the afternoon.  He gets lots of play time and tummy time and fresh air with Brittany.  I am so thankful to have found such a great babysitter for Jojo.   Mike was nice enough to let me leave early the first couple days.  Wednesday he had his 2 month check up.  He is now weighing 10lbs 4 oz and is 23.5" long.  Doctor said his weight was ok as long as he is gaining and not loosing.  I don't need to give him formula.  What a relief for momma.  I was really worried about that.  Jojo also got 4 shots and had to drink a vaccine.  He cry so hard but for only a minute.  He is a tough little fella.  I don't have very many pictures to post of him this week.  But here are a couple.

2 months old

Jojo turned 2 months old last Thursday.  It was a very exciting day.  We woke up to multiple tornado warnings and flood warnings.  We were to have a play date as well.  I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to have it with the crazy weather but we did.  Before our company came I took Jojo's 2 month pictures.  Here they are.

Once the weather calmed down our friend Karen came to our house for Jojo and Juliana's very first play date.  Juliana was 3 weeks old in these pictures.  It was a very uneventful play date being they are so little.  They both slept.  It was nice though to have another adult to talk with throughout the day. It was nice having Karen, Hope, and Juliana visit us for the afternoon.  Here are a few pictures of Jojo and Juliana.  I hope you enjoy these two cuties.
